Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Windmill Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.
At Windmill Animal Rescue, our mission is to create perfect matches between pets and their new families. If you're considering adopting a cat or another animal in need, we encourage you to spend time interacting with them. This helps both you and the animal get a sense of how they might fit into your home, and it also provides them with much-needed attention and companionship.
To ensure the best possible fit, we use a thorough application and approval process. For families with young children, we generally recommend that kittens be at least 9 months old.

After submitting your application and meeting your potential new furry friend, please allow three days to one week for the board to review and approve your application. If the animal is in a private foster home, we’ll need your completed application before sharing the foster's contact information for a meet-and-greet.
