Windmill Animal Rescue's goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the cat's background and your family's needs. Every cat is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right cat with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring a cat into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.
We will review your application upon receipt, which can take up to 7 days. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
Once your application has been submitted, it's time for a meet & greet. If the cat is located at the shelter, please feel free to stop by during business hours. If the cat is being fostered, the foster will reach out to you to set up a meet & greet.
Once approved to adopt, you will receive an email from Windmill Animal Rescue with information about the adoption process. A date and time will be scheduled to adopt once the adoption agreement and fees have been paid.
